Your privacy is our priority

At Convertir.ai, we understand that the files you convert may contain sensitive information — invoices, contracts, personal data. That's why we designed our infrastructure with privacy as a core principle.

Browser-side processing (80% of conversions)

Most conversions run directly in your browser. Your file never leaves your device. You can verify this in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools — you won't see any file upload requests.

Server-side processing (20% of conversions)

For complex document conversions (like PDF to Word), your file is transferred with TLS encryption to our servers. It's processed in an isolated container that is destroyed immediately after. Files are deleted within 1 hour or upon download, whichever comes first.

What we DON'T do

We don't store the contents of your files. We don't index, analyze, or train models with your documents. We don't share files with third parties. We don't require registration or collect personal data. We only log anonymous technical metadata: file size, format type, and processing time.

Cookies and analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a web analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and is GDPR-compliant. We don't track individual users. We don't sell data to third parties.
